Baked apples with rum and ice cream

A spicy and juicy dessert

Step 1
Mix the butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Step 2
Core the apples and fill them with the mixture. Place each apple into a SAGA Pouch, sprinkle the muesli and rum on top of the apples and tie pouches with cooking string.

Step 3
Cook in the oven at 200°C (220°C) for about 25 minutes or until soft depending on the size of the apples.

Step 4
Serve piping hot straight from the SAGA Pouch with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and mint leaves.

Para esta receta necesitará:

  • 4 apples
  • 1 dl sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 ml rum
  • 200 g muesli

  • SAGA Cooking Paper
