Turkey with Orange and braised rutabaga

Special dish to celebrate everyday life

Step1
Make an incision in the turkey breast and coat it with soft butter. Add salt, pepper and parsley into the incision and fold it close.

Step 2
Glaze the onions in a saucepan and add the rutabaga cubes. Let them get some colour and add salt and pepper. Fold SAGA Cooking Paper into a SAGA Boat and spoon in the rutabaga cubes. Place the turkey breast on top of the rutabaga and add the sliced orange, thyme and rosemary. Wrap the SAGA boat into a tight package.

Step 3
Put about a centimeter of water at the bottom of a baking dish and place the SAGA boat in. Cook the dish in 150 C for about 50 minutes.

Step 4
Remove the dish from the oven and open the SAGA boat carefully. Pour the liquid from the Boat into a saucepan and add the juice of one orange in. Simmer the sauce and thicken it with flour if necessary. Slice the turkey breast and pour the sauce over it. Serve the dish from the SAGA boat.
