Hotpot with sausages and vegetables in SAGA boat
A rich Russian hotpot to enjoy during cold weather.
100 g canned red kidney beans
500 g of peeled potatoes
250 g of “Odesskaya” sausage (or any cooked smoked sausage)
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 fresh tomatoes
100 g chicken or vegetable broth
4 bay leaves
35 g fresh parsley
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp black pepper in corns
½ tbsp salt
Preheat the oven to 180ºС.
Cut the tomatoes and potatoes into slices and the onion into half-rings.
Prepare 4 sheets of SAGA Cooking Paper (30x30 cm).
Warm up vegetable oil in a frying pan. Cut sausage into slices and fry them together with onion for 3-4 min.
Portion out the sausage, potatoes, onion, tomatoes and beans onto the 4 pieces of Cooking Paper and make SAGA Boats. Add the paprika, salt, pepper, chicken or vegetable broth and bay leaves. Bake for 25-30 min.
Garnish with the parsley and serve in the SAGA Boats.
