Oven-baked corn on the cob

Children like corn on the cob, and these ones are baked in the oven

For 8 (children’s) servings

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C using the top and bottom heating elements. Prepare 8 sheets of SAGA Cooking Paper about 20 cm long.

Step 2
Wash the lime well under hot water. Scrape the zest off with a grater (only the green part and not the bitter white part immediately under the peel). Finely chop the basil and mix it with the softened butter and lime zest.

Step 3
Cut the corn cobs in half, place one piece on each sheet of SAGA Cooking Paper and brush lightly all over with the basil butter. Do not use salt! Wrap the Cooking Paper firmly around each piece of corn and twist the ends closed. Secure with cooking string if necessary. Place all of the packages on a rack with the closing edge of the paper facing up and bake them in the oven for about 25 minutes. After cooking, unwrap them and season with salt to taste.

Step 4
Insert a toothpick into each end of the cob. This will make it easier to eat them.
