Marinated cod in a SAGA package
Tasty marinated cod on a bed of mashed potatoes
800 g potatoes
3 tbsp vegetable oil
50 g butter
360 g cod
60 g tomato paste
50 ml water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp clove
2 bay leaves
½ tsp powdered black pepper
10 g parsley
Boil the potatoes, add the butter and mash.
Peel and shred carrots, and cut onions into slices.
Marinade: Braise onions and carrots in the vegetable oil, add the tomato paste, sugar, water, salt, cinnamon, clove, bay leaves and black pepper.
Preheat the oven to 180ºС. Prepare 4 sheets of SAGA Cooking Paper (40x40 cm). Portion out the mashed potatoes onto each sheet.
Cut the fish into large slices, salt them and place on the potatoes. Drizzle the marinade over the fish.
Make a SAGA Package, secure with cooking string if necessary and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Open and garnish with the parsley. Serve in the paper.
