Cod in orange sauce with tomatoes

 A healthy dish with a wonderful tang of orange

Step 1
Thickly slice the tomatoes and lay them on four sheets of SAGA baking paper. Drizzle with vegetable oil, add salt and season with white pepper and chopped basil.

Step 2
Peel and dice the onion and finely chop the garlic. Gently fry the onion and garlic in butter before adding the white wine, orange juice and onion. Simmer until the sauce is reduced by half.

Step 3
Lay the cod fillets on the tomato slices and pour over the sauce. Make a SAGA Boat and bake in a pre-heated oven at 190ºС for 10-12 minutes.

Step 4
Serve in the SAGA Package to retain the aroma.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 4 skinless cod fillets (150 g each)
  • 4 medium sized tomatoes
  • 60 ml vegetable oil
  • 100 ml freshly made orange juice
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 20 g butter
  • 100 ml white wine

  • sweet basil (spice)
  • ground white pepper
  • salt
