Bacon and Herb Butter
A perfect topping for any grilled meat or fish.
100 g butter
1 slice bacon
fresh herbs (thyme, chives)
Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry. Finely chop the herbs and mix well with the butter and bacon. Make a mini SAGA loaf and leave to cool. Cut into thin slices and place one on each potato cake just before serving.
Serve with bacon-potato cakes and, for example, with gratinated lamb fillets.
