Apples baked with goat cheese

Original warm dessert
4 slices white bread without the crust
7 tbsp walnut (or olive) oil
4 small apples
2 tbsp cane sugar
120 g goat cheese
2 tbsp apple vinegar
2 egg whites
2 walnut kernels
6 fresh thyme twigs
4 tbsp liquid honey
baking rings (or muffin tin)
Preheat the oven to 180ºС.

Cut the bread into big pieces (3x3 cm) and fry both sides in a frying pan in the walnut oil to make croutons.

Peel and core the apples, and cut into large pieces.Break the goat cheese into large pieces.

Mix the egg whites, apple vinegar, sugar and thyme leaves in a bowl before adding the apples, cheese and croutons.

Line the baking rings (or muffin tin) with SAGA Cooking Paper and place on a tray. Fill the cups with the mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Before serving, decorate with the liquid honey, walnut oil, walnut kernels and sprigs of thyme. Serve in the paper cups.
